Talking is the best form of counselling

My reason for creating this business was to help people feel listened to and special. In my working life I have come across hundreds of people living in facilities like Retirement Villages and Care homes who are surrounded by people but living lonely and isolated lives. I often wondered what their story was - where did they come from, what kind of life did they live, where is their family, how amazing are they? I would love to sit with them and ask them to tell me who they are. In response I will film them telling their stories and then give them that footage as a DVD or on a USB to share with others, but most importantly to feel 'listened to'.
