About Me
I began my career as a teacher in primary schools, a role that I loved. When I moved to Victoria I changed career and began working in current affairs radio before moving across to television production.
Later I was offered a role at the Department of Education where I was production manager for their Schools TV station. In this capacity I helped create videos and DVD's to help teachers provide the best teaching programs for their students.
When that facility was closed down I began my own production company and I am still called upon to produce education programs.
I also worked as head of communication and marketing for Parkinson's Victoria and that lead me to wanting to be a counsellor. I completed my Bachelor of counseling in 2016, focusing on loss and grief. I am also an authorised celebrant.
I am a solo parent having raised 4 children alone and I am thrilled to be the grandmother of 4. I believe that all of the skills and life experiences that I have gained make me the ideal person to run this exciting project of capturing people's stories to save for posterity.
